A cab driver delivering an older woman to her house was negligent in providing her safe access to her home, not allowing enough time for her to retrieve her suitcases and exit the vehicle's area safely. As the cab backed up, the cabbie ran over her foot and ankle, creating severe injuries. We provided an approximation of the lighting that night, inside and outside the vehicle, working with the expert to replicate available outdoor and inside the cab light and a distant street light.
